Very friendly and welcoming hotel owners! We felt as home! We stayed at the hotel on the way to Napoli. The Hotel is located near Mount Vesuvius which we naturally visited. For a 2-star hotel in the province, it's a very nice place! The only inconvenience is getting to the hotel without a car because the buses run infrentquently. It's a great place to relax away from civilization and the hustle and busle of the cities. I hope to be in your area again and definitely stop in Souvenir again! Ciao, Pasquale! Despite the showers makeshift plumbing solution which provided for a few giggles we loved the place. It's certainly not a 5 star hotel but after the places we've experienced in Italy this place felt as if it was 5 star. Ok yes we would have loved the use of the air conditioner but we were not uncomfortable. The location suited us perfectly. We felt safe and did not hesitate to leave the bulk of our luggage in the car. The parking is deep in the grounds and well away from prying eyes. If I ever return to this area I would not hesitate even for a second to stay here again.

Although the room was pretty decent, some of the staff members were horrible. One of them was very inappropriate, knocking on my door late at night, asking for drinks and implying for wanting things to go further. Additionally I was wrongly charged as another member of staff demanded that I pay for the hotel stay and yet I pre-paid on line already. Do yourself a favour, do not stay here!

I loved this place! The room is fairly spacious, the bathroom not so much. Don't expect hotel style new furniture and modern bathroom facilities. Expect clean rooms with old but working furniture. The location is great, 300m up Vesuvius. The breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared. I got the choice between Italian breakfast or something more robust including bread, eggs, meat, pastries and coffee. The owner speaks English. The real reason why I loved this place is the owner. He and his wife will go through great lengths to make their guests fell comfortable. You constantly get a coffee and a smile. They also prepared my lunch and dinner that day, both delicious and reasonably priced.

There were no bedsheets on the pillow and the blanket. :O And there was a little amount of hot water to take a shower. The room looks clean but cold.

Fantastic sea view! Very friendly service. We recommend that hotel, when you want to visit the Vesuv, Pompeji and Herculaneum.

The hotel is located at the foot of Vesuvius. The room is clean, everyday cleaning. Good breakfast. Free parking. I liked the stay very much!||The staff was very friendly and helpful - thanks, guys! Say hello to Berillo ))
